WHO CAN APPLY FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENT QUOTAS?

(1) Applications are accepted from candidates who are either in the final year of secondary education (high school) or have already graduated from high school, provided that they meet one of the following conditions:

a) Foreign nationals who have not received their secondary education in Türkiye or have not graduated from a secondary education institution in Türkiye, excluding those who studied at embassy schools, international private educational institutions registered in the MOBİS system, and foreign nationals brought to Türkiye under projects conducted by the Ministry of National Education.

b) Candidates who can document that they have renounced Turkish citizenship with official permission or hold a Blue Card, provided that they did not receive their high school education in Türkiye or the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), and have not graduated from secondary education institutions in these countries.

c) Candidates who were foreign nationals at birth and later acquired Turkish citizenship, thereby becoming dual nationals, provided that they did not receive their high school education in Türkiye or the TRNC, and have not graduated from secondary education institutions in these countries.

ç) Turkish citizens who completed their entire high school education in a foreign country other than the TRNC, including graduates of Turkish schools established abroad under the Ministry of National Education.

d) Citizens of the TRNC who resided in the TRNC and completed their high school education at schools that do not implement the Turkish curriculum (including those in Türkiye), and who possess a GCE A-Level examination result.

e) Citizens of the TRNC who enrolled in and attended high schools or colleges in other countries between 2005 and 2010, and who possess or will possess a GCE A-Level examination result.

f) Citizens of the TRNC who completed their entire high school education in a foreign country and hold a valid TR-YÖS score and/or diploma grade.
